Kazeem Adeyemi had First-Class Honors and a Distinction in his bachelor’s and master’s degrees, respectively, at the University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria. He joined the services of the University of Ilorin as an assistant lecturer in 2009. He holds a PhD in Meat Sciences with a distinction from Putra University, Malaysia. He does research in meat sciences and muscle biology, animal welfare and slaughter techniques, animal products and processing, and animal nutrition. He was the Departmental Examination Officer from 2017 to 2020, a Representative of the Faculty of Agriculture on the Board of Postgraduate School from 2020 to 2021, and the Sub-Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ilorin, since 2021.
