Dr. Sola-Ojo Foluke Eunice is an Associate Professor in the Department of Animal Production at the University of Ilorin and a Registered Animal scientist. Her research centered on Animal Breeding and Genetics, and her Ph.D. thesis won the prestigious Nigerian University Doctoral Thesis Award (NUDTAS) in the year 2010 as the best Ph.D. thesis in the discipline of Agriculture. She has about 60 academic publications in Local, National, and International Journals. Presently, she is in a research collaboration with a team of scientists at Kunming Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Science under a grant provided by the Chinese President’s International Fellowship Initiative on Genetic Diversity of Indigenous Poultry of which her Ph.D., M.Sc., and Undergraduate students are beneficiaries; the outcome of their research have won travel’s grant to attend International Society for Animal Geneticist (ISAG) conference in Spain 2019 and South Africa 2023.
